 Slabfest.org is dedicated to building and placing of fish habitat along with the restocking of Lakes.

We plan to put the concerns of crappie fishermen in the minds of our DNR and state lawmakers. We need limits on some of our lakes. Others might need creel limits. Some will benifit the most from the Habitat. Deteriorating habitat in our lakes is a big concern.

The state doesn't have the funds but the private sector. Something has to be done..BE PART OF IT!

Slabfest.org is crappie fishing at it's finest for anglers and families. We are dedicated to preserving the sport of crappie fishing for future generations. We hold1 and 2 day family fishing events on lakes in Georgia and Alabama. Just regular joes and jills with a passion for crappie fishing, teaching others what we know, the outdoors, and good eating.  The big fishfry starts right after the tournament weigh in where we release the crappie to the grease.

 Slabfest were started in 2005 by people on the best fishing website on the web, Crappie.com Georgia forum. Good people like  papasage, birddog, Gaboy, reelcrappie, jimmyS,----------- and myself, Falcon Smitty.
